An incredible concept trip we built especially for you!

The Rolling Trip is exactly what it sounds like - a riding trip that takes you through every shade of northern Brazil: Cumbuco => Taíba => Ilha do Guajiru => Jericoacoara.

The first town we meet is Cumbuco. It sits about 50 km from Fortaleza airport, which makes it the first stop for every kitesurfer.

Cumbuco combines steady, strong wind all day long with endless sand beaches that leave you enormous space to ride, unlike the crowded spots elsewhere, and some of the best kite clubs in the world - spare gear, rentals, repairs, organised downwinders and more. A short downwinder from the village lies Cauípe, the lagoon for anyone after a calmer chill-out session and a great place for beginners, with flat water and steady wind.

The village centre has a run of beach restaurants full of Brazilian cooking, locals with endless good humour, and a holiday feel. Nightlife in Cumbuco is a handful of bars, but the restaurants make up for it - and if you want a long night out in a real Brazilian club, Fortaleza is half an hour away.

Next we head to Taíba, an isolated lagoon with dream conditions. We get there in our own buggies, a short self-drive along the beach, spend a full day riding the lagoon and head back to Cumbuco for another night.

After two days soaking up the riding in Cumbuco and Taíba, which are neighbours, we continue to Ilha do Guajiru.

Ilha do Guajiru is a small, stunning fishing village with a private lagoon that grows and shrinks with the tide. The lagoon sits right against the sea, so you can choose your conditions: waves in the open water, or flat water in the lagoon. From there we run superb downwinders on the river and in the open sea.

The atmosphere in Ilha slows everyone down, because everything there is simple - from rooms that look out over the water to hotel facilities built carefully around riders, and excellent food.

We finish this trip in a town of its own kind: Jericoacoara. A lively place with perfect conditions and very good nightlife, unreal sunsets and dune drives through scenery that is hard to believe.

Throughout the trip we travel with our own vehicles, from buggies to pickups, moving us from place to place.
