Who we are

This website is operated by Extreme by Asabro ("Extreme", "we"). It covers the Extreme website at asabro.co.il: the surf school, the trips, the gear shop, the schedule and the promotions we run for the Extreme WindApp.

Extreme WindApp itself (the mobile apps and extremeapp.app) has its own terms and privacy notice. This policy covers the website you are reading.

What we collect and why

We only collect what a specific action needs.

• Contact and booking enquiries: your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message, plus the page you sent it from. Used to answer you and to arrange the course, trip or purchase you asked about.
• PRO promotion signups: your name, email address and phone number, together with the fact that you ticked the marketing box, the exact wording you agreed to, the time you agreed, your IP address, your browser user agent, the page you signed up from and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through. Used to activate the two free months of PRO on the email address you gave, and to prove the opt-in if it is ever questioned.
• Course registrations and shop orders: the contact and order details needed to fulfil them.
• Usage statistics: aggregate page and performance measurements collected by Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. These are used to see which pages are slow or popular, not to build a profile of you.
• Cookies and similar storage: see the cookie policy for the detail.

Marketing messages

We send marketing content by email, SMS or WhatsApp only to people who explicitly asked for it, in line with section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law.

The tick box is never pre-ticked, and the exact wording you agreed to is stored with your record together with the date and time.

You can opt out at any moment - use the unsubscribe link in any message we send, reply asking to stop, or contact us directly. Opting out does not affect a PRO benefit you already received.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your details and we do not hand them to advertisers. They reach only the service providers who make the site work, each acting on our instructions:

• Vercel - hosting and delivery of this website, plus its aggregate analytics.
• Neon - the managed PostgreSQL database where submissions and signups are stored.
• Resend - delivery of the notification and marketing email we send.
• Extreme WindApp (extremeapp.app) - for a PRO promotion signup only, we pass your name, email address, phone number and the time you consented, so the free PRO months can be attached to your account.
• Meta / WhatsApp - only if you choose to start a WhatsApp conversation with us from the site.
• Authorities or advisers - where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and orders are kept as long as needed to handle them and to meet the record-keeping periods that tax and consumer law impose on us.

Promotion signups, including the consent record, are kept while the marketing relationship lasts and for as long as we may need to show that the opt-in was given. When you unsubscribe we keep the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again.

How it is protected

The site is served over HTTPS, the database is managed and access-controlled, and the admin area is limited to staff accounts with two-factor authentication.

Forms are rate limited and carry anti-bot measures. No system is perfect, so if you believe your details were exposed, tell us and we will investigate.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 you may ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date, and ask us to delete it.

Write to us and we will answer within the period the law allows. We may need to confirm your identity first, so that nobody else can act on your record.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be published here, and the date below always reflects the current version.
