Kremasti, Greece

Meet Kremasti - the riding capital of the Greek islands, on the north side of Rhodes. It is a perfect spot for kiters and wingers. Close to Israel, and one of the most sought-after spots in Europe during the wind season. Kremasti is a very long stretch of beach right next to the heart of Rhodes town (the old city). The spot gets excellent wind every day from 11:00 until sunset. The sea is easy: no shorebreak, and the shelter of the Turkish coast keeps the swell down, so the conditions suit every level. In season the crowd comes from all over Europe and the atmosphere is sporty. Several hotels sit right on the spot, with comfortable rooms and a taverna that doubles as the dining room, serving fresh vegetables daily, superb fish, real Greek tzatziki, gyros and more. The beach is a ten-minute drive from the town centre, a picturesque mix of ancient Greek ruins, tavernas and very good nightlife. Kremasti is the trip we recommend most for a first-time rider, and it is also the most flexible one: you can pick a short weekend or a long midweek anywhere in the season. It is a short flight from Tel Aviv to Rhodes, then ten minutes to the hotel or to our beach. In season (June, July, August) the packages run Sunday to Sunday, Sunday to Thursday or Thursday to Sunday, and you can choose a full clinic with coaching, private coaching, no coaching, flight and hotel only, or a trip built around your own dates.

Extreme surf trips are organised holidays to the best wind and wave destinations in the world: kitesurfing, wingfoiling and wave riding, guided by the Extreme crew in small groups. Filter the destinations by month, sport and skill level.

Mauritius, La Morne

A rare island with outstanding kite and wing conditions for every level, drawing riders from all over the world. The coast is shaped unlike anywhere else: a reef up to 500 metres out leaves perfect flat water inside it, bright turquoise and crystal clear, and beyond the reef stands the Mauritian wave, rated one of the best rides in the world.

Boracay Island, Philippines

Boracay in the Philippines is easily the most special destination you could ask for during the Israeli winter. The hotel sits right on the beach, so all that is left is to pump up the kite or the wing and enjoy textbook conditions for kiting and winging.

Ceará, Brazil

This is the place to be, on an incredible concept trip we built especially for you! The Rolling Trip is exactly what it sounds like - a riding trip that takes you through every shade of northern Brazil: Cumbuco => Taíba => Ilha do Guajiru => Jericoacoara. The first town we meet is Cumbuco. It sits about 50 km from Fortaleza airport, which makes it the first stop for every kitesurfer. Cumbuco combines steady, strong wind all day long with endless sand beaches that leave you enormous space to ride, unlike the crowded spots elsewhere, and some of the best kite clubs in the world - spare gear, rentals, repairs, organised downwinders and more. A short downwinder from the village lies Cauípe, the lagoon for anyone after a calmer chill-out session and a great place for beginners, with flat water and steady wind.

Some destinations are beginner-friendly and include coaching; others are aimed at experienced riders. The skill level is stated on each destination page.
What does a surf trip cost?
Prices start from the figure shown on each destination card and vary with dates, accommodation and trip length.
